Open Gravity filter systems are typically used when filtrate is pumped into an atmospheric tank, or where very small batches are the norm, and quick filter bag change out is a priority. The threaded inlet coupling and lightweight nature of this product allows this filter to be moved from one process feed pipe to another with ease. Strainrite Open Gravity systems feature the positive locking action of a quick disconnect clamp. Unlike competing designs, including adapter head units, Strainrite systems, with their industrial-grade mesh or perforated support baskets, easily handle higher viscosities and increased differential pressures. |
