Oakland Engineering Filtration was developed in the late 1980’s out of an engineering firm, Oakland Engineering (1983) and Oakland Products. |
They began manufacturing DI water purification systems for the automotive industry, vessel housings and distributed liquid filter bags.
In the early 1990’s Oakland Engineering Filtration began to manufacture liquid filtration products and created partnerships in assembly and the power train automotive plants.
The Strainrite Companies acquired Oakland Engineering Filtration in May of 2000 bringing new technology, research and development.
Today Oakland Engineering Filtration supports the automotive industry, paint and body shops, phosphate/e-coat lines for domestic and foreign owned companies throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
